Volunteering Website Launches for V-inspired Young People

The staff at Greenwich were very understanding and guided me in the right direction.  I started on the HND for my first year, really enjoyed it in terms of the topics I studied and the great friends that I met, so after my first year I joined  the degree program. Admittedly it was difficult, especially meeting coursework deadlines, but it was worth it. I had a great time, especially as I look back on it now.

Greenwich University IT Profile: Amy Frost

Posted on Fri, 23 Feb 2007 15:41:26

I choose to do my degree in Information Systems at the University of Greenwich because the course description seemed to suit me perfectly. I wanted to do an IT degree, but I didn’t want to spend hour upon hour writing computer code and programmes. It turned out to be exactly what I was looking for, and helped me develop skills beyond the technical IT world. Various coursework’s and team building exercises allowed us all to build on important softer skills too; time management, working in and leading a team, organisational skills and communication skills to name just a few.
