Students of the BA(Hons) Popular Music with Music Technology programme at the University of Derby continue to undertake high profile commercial music activities and significant community based music events. Recent work includes involvement with the recording, production, licensing and distribution of a charitable CD to promote awareness of and raise funds for the Adrian Johnson Memorial Trust, established in the wake of the terrible events in London on the 7th July 2005. The Rose by Amanda McBroom was performed by Adrian’s widow Cathey Johnson and the recording has stimulated national and international support through charitable donations to the trust.
