We’ve got a supportive team of staff and new buildings equipped with hi-tech equipment and world-class sports facilities. Our four modern campuses - two in Wolverhampton, one in Walsall and one in Telford – are waiting to welcome you.

Here’s what two of our students think:

wolves_cent01.jpgAlexandra Khan graduates this September with a BA in Drama.

She said: “I would definitely recommend going to university to anyone, it’s just the best experience. I found it really useful and learned new skills.” Alex juggled her degree with modelling after she was runner-up in FHM magazine’s High Street Honey competition and said the University was very supportive. “In my second year I did more modelling but in the final year I really focused on acting,” she said. “I want to be an actress, that’s my dream,” she said. “I played the title role in a student production of Cinderella and that really gave me confidence.” Although originally Alex hails from Essex, she soon settled into life in Wolverhampton. “I love Wolverhampton, it’s a great place and I’ve really enjoyed living here.”

Kevin Leighton explains how being a student at the University has changed his life.

“Since becoming a student I’ve gained so much confidence and I really feel like I’m getting somewhere. From the first time I went to the University for information, I had a lot of support and help with everything from course selection to registration and loans. I’m studying for a foundation degree in Broadcast Journalism and find it really enjoyable. My tutors are brilliant because they’re very helpful and actually work in the industry. They know what it takes to succeed and with them on my side I feel like I have a chance in a very competitive business, which motivates me to work as hard. I like the fact that a lot of the coursework is practical and the exercises are fun. I’ve also been able to do work experience and I was invited to cover a major arts festival in Hungary, which was fantastic. It’s not all hard work though. The University offers loads of sporting activities and the Students’ Union organises social events. Studying here is one of the best things I’ve ever done.”
