Ratatouille - Hilarious, must be seen?
Posted on Mon, 19 November 2007 12:21:17
This month has seen the launch of a new partnership between the School Food Trust and Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures UK around the release of this year’s most original and critically-acclaimed comedy – the Disney / Pixar blockbuster movie "Ratatouille". The film is the story of Remy, a French rat, who loves good food but would rather go hungry than eat junk.
Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures and the School Food Trust have created a campaign to use Remy and the other characters from "Ratatouille" to encourage young people to choose a healthy school meal and promote healthy eating.
Ratatouille has already broken box office records across Europe. Created by the same team that brought us "Finding Nemo", "The Incredibles" and "Toy Story", "Ratatouille" is the hilarious adventure of a French rat named Remy who loves good food and dreams of becoming a top-class chef. He finds himself in Paris at one of the gastronomic capitals finest and most exclusive restaurants made famous by Remy’s culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau, whose mantra "anyone can cook" has been Remy’s life-long inspiration.
Remy sets in motion a hilarious and extraordinary chain of events which turn the culinary world of Paris upside down. The film opens in the UK on October 12th.
The School Food Trust website features a Disney/Pixar ‘Ratatouille’ game that young people can play online, as well as the chance to win a Playstation 3 and a ‘Ratatouille’ Playstation game – see http://schoolfoodtrust.org.uk
