Student Cricketers Given First-Class Support from MCC

Choosing between ‘chasing the dream’ and continuing with academic studies is a tough decision for any talented young sportsperson.

At PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) we have a range of exciting opportunities from Accounting Technician programmes to Gap Year Programmes, and we are looking to recruit talented young people – like you - to join us in 2005.
My Journey into Journalism
When Amy Merone enrolled on the BA(Hons) Journalism course at the University of Central Lancashire, even she had no idea what it would lead to. Three years on she has just graduated and is heading off to Africa to teach English and raise awareness of HIV.

If you are a regular ‘Get Smaart’ reader, you’ve probably seen PricewaterhouseCoopers featured before. But, did you know that PwC recruits around 100 young people every year to join us as Accounting Technicians and Gap Year students in the UK?
St. Georges Universitys School of Medicine - Student Profile
Rohit Seth studied at St. George’s University’s School of Medicine, Grenada, and is now completing his surgical training in the U.K. When considering plastic surgery as a career, the words "California" and "United States" immediately come to mind. It’s not often that one considers an international medical school tucked away in a small island in the Eastern Caribbean. Still, I took the road less traveled and I can confidently say that it was the most fulfilling decision of my professional career.
