We Don’t Just Give You a Ladder, We Give You a Lift.

Getting the first step on the career ladder requires skills and understanding.

At the University of Wolverhampton we can help you from the first step all the way to the top.

0006406.jpgMaybe you want to be a nurse. Perhaps your ambition lies in journalism or you’d love to be a forensic scientist. The University is bursting with opportunities to help you achieve your career goal.

We work closely with businesses and much of what students learn can be taken straight into the working world.

Our courses are extremely diverse and cover a huge range of subjects from languages, engineering, business, healthcare and education, to sport, graphic design and computing.

There are also plenty of professional qualifications available including law, education and science and the more modern areas of complementary therapy, automotive engineering and virtual reality.

If you choose to study with us you’ll find yourself in a living and learning environment for the 21st century.

0006438.jpgThere are new buildings, laboratories and lecture theatres and we have modern learning centres on all four campuses (Wolverhampton, Telford, Walsall and Compton). Our Millennium City Building has some of the most advance psychology facilities in UK Higher Education as well as a social learning space where you can study in a relaxed environment and enjoy a coffee while working on a PC.

The New Walsall Sports Centre opened last year and is one of very few National Judo Centres of Excellence where high-profile international competitions are held. We also have new and refurbished School of Health buildings with simulated ward environments and clinical skills laboratories.

Our halls of residence provide outstanding value for money with inclusive heating, gas, electricity and contents insurance, as well as Internet access – we have one of the UK’s largest single area wireless Internet networks.

0011889.jpgWe were the first University in Europe to introduce a degree in Multimedia Communication and the first in the UK to offer a degree in British Sign Language and a degree in Business Enterprise.

We’re also pioneers for student support - our high street Higher Education Shop was the first of its kind in the UK and counsels more than 25,000 individuals each year on any aspect of university life.

Our Student Services Gateway is a one-stop shop for counselling, careers, employment and financial guidance so it’s easy for students to get the help and support they need.

We have helped to set thousands of graduates on the path to success and could also help you to fulfil your ambitions.

If you want us to help you climb that ladder, visit our website at www.wlv.ac.uk e-mail: enquiries@wlv.ac.uk or call us on tel: 01902 32 22 22.
