want to make a difference? Think outside the box

...when it comes to your career!

Think differently, ask yourself what do you want from a job? Do you want to travel? Do you want to be a manager, of people, of finance, of processes? Do you enjoy designing things? Do you dare to be different?

northumbria-hub.jpgIf the answer to any or all of the above is yes, then think about one of the careers available in property and development. No it isn’t all hard hats, donkey jackets and dirt, so that’s another misconception out of the window. The variety of jobs available is enormous, from architect to project manager to building surveyor. It depends on what you want to do. Do you want to design buildings for people to use, or manage the building process? Can you see yourself as a property developer regenerating an area or a building, or a housing manager making life better for people? Interested in finance and managing client projects, perhaps quantity surveying or project management calls. IT skills good? Then a career in architectural technology or building services engineering is worth looking at. As I said before think outside of the box!
