Subject: >>good a - level subjects to choose for studying acountancy?

Hi,
I'm currently being asked to choose my 4 AS subjects for next year. Can you give me an idea of what's best to study along with Maths / further maths ?
Thanks

Any subjects at A-level or degree are acceptable, it is the grades that count! On average, organisations will be looking for around 220 UCAS Tariff points and a 2:1 or First degree. From A-level the length of the training contract is around four-five years, after degree it is three years, and after completing the AAT qualification it is possible to complete the ACA in only a further two years on the AAT- ACA Fast Track scheme (a great option if you want to start earning now and get ahead in your career!) You can read the full article on accountancy on this website, look at the sute map and go to articles. If you sign up for the newsletter, you'll get all the latest info as it happens plus eblasts from unis, training bodies(including AAT and ICAEW-the accountancy bodies) and apprenticeship opportunities. These are gr8 and really helpful.
